Harriet Page Counselling
Hi! I'm Harriet, and I'm so pleased you've found my website. I'm an NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) registered level 5 counsellor and hypnotherapist, and specialise in binge eating disorder, relationship boundaries, and goal achievement with an emphasis on emotional and spiritual growth. You can find me on The Counselling Directory, the NCPS website, and Bark. I also have an enhanced DBS.
Therapy can be the most wonderful tool in supporting someone to work through past traumas, stuck emotions, and difficult times, and if after having a browse around my website you feel that I would be a good fit for you, then please get in touch! I'd love to hear from you. I work as both a therapist and a life coach; the main different being that life coaching is an advisory role with an emphasis on solutions and working towards set goals. Explore the "life coaching" page for more information on my working practices.

You can find further information about the support I provide, some background around my work and education, and a whole host of resources to help in the interim if you're needing a pick-me-up, a pep talk, or some guidance through a low point.
Some of the things I love to support and work with clients around are; lowering daily anxiety, increasing self esteem and self worth, stress management, and the ability to set and hold boundaries. Regaining your emotional control and increasing your assertiveness can have such a knock-on effect through life that it's unbelievable. I feel really passionately about working with people to become their best selves, and seeing the gradual change as they become more and more who they were meant to be. I've been working in this field for my entire adult life, and I feel completely drawn towards working with people in a supportive role. I am a humanistic counsellor, but also have strong elements of transpersonal and solution-focused therapy. My role as your counsellor is not to advise, but to support you in making the best decisions for your growth and journey. I really do feel honoured and priveleged to be a part of people's life, and to have their trust and faith. If you feel that you aren't sure if I work with your particular issue, or if you'd like to speak to me to see if we connect, then please get in touch so we can arrange our first free 20 minute consultation. I'd love to work with you.

A bit about me; I'm a qualified, registered, and insured counsellor and hypnotherapist. I've been working in and around mental health for ten years, and have always found it to be something I am naturally drawn to. Having worked as a mental health specialist in several different roles, I have had experience of working therapeutically with a range of different issues; anxiety, depression, paranoid thoughts, trauma-based fears, and abuse, to name a few. I am constantly researching, reading, studying, and participating in further trainings and workshops, as I believe it to be pivotal that I practice what I preach and continue to work on my own personal development and professional progression.
My Education & Background
I have worked in the fields of sexual violence, criminal justice, suicide prevention and social services. These have been an invaluable source of experience and knowledge, as the varied positions have allowed me to work with many issues that I may otherwise not have encountered. These roles enabled me to work closely with varying mental health conditions and issues, such as OCD, bereavement, paranoia, EUPD, and depression. Through working with my clients I also devised many worksheets for them to work on between sessions- I have included several of my worksheets as a free resource which you can find by following the link below.
